About the Project Asia Insurance Review is the premier and comprehensive professional regional magazine of the Asian continent. It is read by all the key decision makers and readers in the insurance industry of several countries including the ones that are located in South Asia and the Far East, Also Australia. They were looking for a competent partner to build a comprehensive Content Management Portal to manage their digital content. The idea was to store all published articles at one place to help the editorial team and enable the readers to get updated versions of the articles along with daily updates on a real-time basis. Also, our client wanted to offer their readers a hassle-free purchase of all the magazines published by them. The Solution After a detailed analysis of the requirements and researching the latest technology in the market, our team suggested developing a web portal using the popular .Net-based content management system, DotNetNuke. We also developed an E-store with an integrated payment gateway so that insurance companies, agents and other readers can digitally purchase the articles and magazines published by our client. Other features include the latest news, archives, search and advanced search, events, and newsletters. We used DotNetNuke, C#, JQuery, HTML, and SQL Server to design and develop the solution. The Results This refurbishing project has given Asia Insurance Review a new look and feels that puts them in the same league with the world’s best news and magazine content sites. The hassle-free daily news updates on scheduled time, E-Store to purchase the magazines, Archives, etc., have helped Asia Insurance Review to become a major player in their industry.
