Using the strategies of drop culture, we launched Whipshots into the world with Cardi B, and sold out in 3 seconds every single day for a month.

Our Work

Woo developed Cardi B’s vodka-infused whipped cream brand from the ground up. This included developing the brand positioning, identity and strategy, as well as all the work required for the brand’s packaging and the broader campaign.

The launch of Whipshots was positioned to drive awareness, disrupt consumer behavior, and invite younger, legal drinking-aged consumers to feel a part of something truly provocative and daring, fueling a desire for purchase.

We debuted the brand with a Whip Drop (akin to a sneaker drop) in which the product sold out in 3 seconds every day for a month. Whipshots quickly became a cultural phenomenon IRL and on social, popping up at awards shows, Pride, and music festivals, as well as being featured on Jimmy Fallon, the Today Show, and Buzzfeed among others. We continued to work with the brand through Valentines Day, launching a social media campaign with Dr Ruth.

Results

  • 3B earned media impressions
  • Built a community of 125K Instagram followers from the ground up

  • Generated significant UGC participation among consumers yielding TikTok videos that have garnered over 400 million video views
