ProDaddy – Pregnancy Guide App for the Daddy to Be

The Journey

The client made a request to design an app for daddy-to-be. The app aimed at helping newly father through daily/weekly tips, product recommendations, financial consultations in terms of savings account openings etc.

The client wanted a dynamic and unique design for their mobile app that supports original user onboarding tutorials. In addition, they want smooth navigation so that users could find tutorials and tips fast.

How ProDaddy Will Help Daddy-To-Be in Pregnancy?

Pregnancy can be a little daunting for daddy to be especially when it’s the first time. To make it stress-free we have created ProDaddy. Whether you want updates about your baby’s week by week development, countdown, weekly pregnancy tips, financial suggestions or baby product recommendations all you can find in this app, this apps guide you through the process.

ProDaddy app is geared toward the dad-to-be, it offers glances of current pregnancy news, and contain informative content not only for dad-to-be but also for a mother to be.

Challenges That We Faced During the Process

The app will focus on bringing forward content from a backend content management system that will allow the super admin to change and update regularly. The project includes app development, all connections to backend services, hosting setup, and the ability to track activity from within the app.

Solutions

Our goal was to create a marketplace app that anyone could use. In order to make the first user experience as smooth as possible, we developed an interactive onboarding tutorial. It visually describes the basic functions of the app and makes a piece of cake out of the first experience of our users. With native iPhone app development, we integrated google ad, push notifications and analytics for capturing user activity. App store icon created based on the brand logo. An application will support the English language only.

What Did We Do?

Nowadays, pregnancy apps are sprouting niche. A search on the Google Play and App Store produced around 1,000 results. During the study, we found that more than 47% of total mobile subscribers are using healthcare mobile application especially pregnancy-related app.

With these apps, users can monitor baby bump, weight, blood pressure and find out the list of foods that are good for pregnancy. Even some of an app morph photos of couple’s faces together to show what a baby might look like.
