Phoenix Art Museum Website Share: Kitchen Sink Studios Score Awaiting client review n/a Date Published 28 July 2020 Reading Time 2-Minute Read Phoenix Art Museum was in need of a complete overhaul to provide its guests and members with an equally modern and excellent user experience. Situation: The Challenge Phoenix Art Museum (PAM) is a premier art and culture destination with exclusive collections from around the world, hosting nearly 300k visitors on-site each year. Their website was in need of a complete overhaul to provide their guests and members with an equally modern and excellent user experience. After a lengthy RFP process, Kitchen Sink was chosen as PAM’s partner to undertake this effort and build their new site, along with a number of supporting digital tools and assets. As the central communication & commerce platform for PAM, nothing short of perfection would do. The Process: Strategy & Approach Starting with an exhaustive list of requirements from our client, coupled with our own discovery and deep dive into their user journeys, we developed a thorough UX/UI and wireframe study. Key design elements such as full Spanish conversion as well as interactive maps and a robust backend system were considered mandatory ingredients. This resulted in a fresh experience for staff and members, as well as new visitors. Results: The Final Experience The new site is 100% responsive and empowers PAM’s diverse audiences by offering various ways for them to engage with and share the site. The content management system controls the entire site allowing our client to update everything from new exhibits to entirely new sections for members. The Phoenix Art Museum website is currently an Awwwards nominee.
